Grapes Innovative Solutions participated in India Med Expo 2026, held from 5–7 September at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru. Bringing together 400+ exhibitors, 12,000+ trade visitors, 2,000+ brands, and 500+ healthcare institutes, the expo provided a valuable opportunity to showcase Grapes IDMR, demonstrate our healthcare solutions, and connect with healthcare professionals.
Through live demonstrations and conversations, we explored how connected technology can address everyday challenges across clinical, administrative, and patient service workflows. These interactions also helped us better understand healthcare institutions' evolving technology needs.
Our participation was driven by a clear purpose: to demonstrate how connected digital solutions can make hospital operations more organised, efficient, and patient-focused.
Healthcare institutions often manage clinical records, patient registration, appointments, billing, pharmacy, laboratory operations, inventory, and administrative reporting through separate processes. This can create information gaps, repetitive work, and delays.
At our exhibition space, we introduced visitors to the connected capabilities of Grapes IDMR and explained how a unified digital ecosystem can bring different hospital departments together.
Our participation focused on demonstrating how a connected digital ecosystem can bring hospital departments together. At our exhibition space, visitors explored how Grapes IDMR supports clinical and administrative activities within connected workflows. Demonstrations covered electronic medical records, inpatient management, mobile accessibility, operational reporting, and hospital administration alongside essential departmental functions.
We also introduced SARA, our AI-powered Intelligent Hospital Ecosystem, bringing together automation, IoT, and M-IoT products:
Displays real-time patient details, billing amounts and dynamic payment QR codes through Grapes IDMR, helping patients pay easily while reducing manual work.
Lets patients send instant wireless alerts to caregivers, helping staff respond quickly, coordinate requests and provide timely, patient-focused care.
Supports text-to-voice, voice-to-voice and multilingual announcements for specific rooms, wards, floors or departments, helping hospital teams communicate clearly and quickly.
Uses AI facial recognition to control access to restricted hospital areas and automatically record attendance and access activity, improving security and staff management.
Displays doctor availability, tokens, announcements, health updates and services, with real-time updates from smartphones or centralised systems to keep patients informed.
Continuously monitors IV fluid levels and flow rates, detects abnormalities and completion, and sends instant alerts to help nurses respond promptly.
Monitors medical oxygen pressure and vacuum levels, providing real-time readings and centralised alerts to help staff identify abnormalities and maintain reliable hospital operations
Automatically records urine output in real time and integrates with Grapes IDMR, reducing manual documentation and helping clinicians make informed patient-care decisions.
Automates medicine dispensing through Grapes IDMR, helping pharmacy teams reduce manual work and dispensing errors while improving speed, accuracy and traceability.
The central message was straightforward: authorised teams need access to relevant information when carrying out their responsibilities. Better information flow can help departments coordinate more effectively throughout the patient journey.
Grapes IDMR software demonstration and product presentation
Our demonstrations connected software capabilities with situations familiar to hospital teams. Visitors could see how digital workflows may reduce repetitive data entry, limit dependence on paper records, and improve access to patient information.
We also discussed the role of timely operational information in hospital management. When relevant records and reports are accessible, authorised users can monitor activities, review departmental performance, and make informed decisions. The demonstrations encouraged visitors to raise questions about their own institutions. Our team explained how configurations may vary according to hospital size, speciality, existing processes, and operational requirements.
These exchanges made the sessions more useful for both sides. Visitors could relate the platform to their daily responsibilities, while our team gained clearer insights into implementation expectations and workflow priorities.
The conversations at India Med Expo were an important part of our participation. Hospital administrators, doctors, business owners, IT decision-makers, and industry representatives shared questions about usability, staff adoption, integration, mobile access, implementation support, and scalability. Their perspectives reinforced a principle that guides our work: healthcare software should support the people using it. A feature becomes valuable when it helps a team complete a task accurately, access necessary information, or coordinate with another department.
Discussions also highlighted why implementation needs attention alongside product capabilities. Institutions want to understand how a platform will fit existing routines and how staff will become comfortable using it. The feedback collected during the expo will help inform our ongoing product improvements and future conversations with healthcare organisations. These conversations further reinforced that successful digital adoption begins with understanding each institution’s everyday challenges.
Dr. A Velumani Discussing hospital requirements with the Grapes team.
Expo conversations showed growing demand for healthcare technology that is practical, connected, adaptable, and easy for hospital teams to understand.
Visitors showed particular interest in:
• Connected clinical and administrative workflows
• Reduced manual and repetitive work
• Mobile access to relevant information
• AI-supported healthcare processes
• Improved visibility for hospital management
• Integration across hospital departments
• Technology that can grow with an institution
The event also allowed us to identify new expectations and potential areas for future innovation.
India Med Expo 2026 gave Grapes Innovative Solutions a valuable opportunity to demonstrate Grapes IDMR, exchange ideas, and learn directly from healthcare professionals. The experience strengthened our commitment to developing connected technology shaped by real hospital needs. We will continue using industry feedback to guide improvements across clinical workflows, administration, mobility, AI, automation, and connected devices. Our focus remains on helping healthcare teams work with greater clarity and coordination.
We sincerely thank everyone who visited our exhibition space, attended demonstrations, asked questions, and shared feedback. We look forward to building on these conversations through meaningful collaborations that support better hospital operations and patient experiences.
